how long did you say it's been?

ONE year and more since my last blog! this is what being in china does to you -- blog spots are banned, but damn, the spit spots on the street are not banned. i call them "spit(not speed) traps" -- abound in every corner of the streets -- careful not to step on them!

how to avoid spit traps:
1. keep your eyes glued to the ground when u walk
2. suspicious round stains on the pavement -- yes, make no mistake. they are what you think they are, even if they are dried up. hop over them like hopscotch.
3. practise hopscotch at home
4. keep your eyes wide shut, ears wide open. listen out for the noise of stirring up phlegm -- be prepared to hop either way or just speed up right ahead.
5. never wear pretty slippers (beverly feldman, manolo no no..)

it's good to be back home. ahhh...

back in my usual writing position, sitting in my corner in my den of a room, plugged in to my Pod. ah, back, Sanity, back.
