i can't believe it, seems so surreal, i'm in China, starting what i should have started half a year ago. (watch: red tapes galore)

every day is a new day -- apart from it being a new day of the month, it's also a big day in a new environment, new people, new challenges.

living alone again since the good old melbourne days is quite a welcome experience, although i'd prefer it if it weren't so darn cold out there and everyone's miserable in the cold.

well, at least it makes you less willing to go out and walk around to explore the new environment.

i'm making lots of mental notes as i go along, so i thought it'll be perfect to blog the mental notes down before i go mental.

Small things make me so happy:
1. finally got hot water when i shower.
2. i mastered a little winter routine to go about my daily living

What I'm mental about:
1. workers who pinch my food, use my cups and dirty my living areas.
2. "ahyi"s (hourly cleaner) who can't seem to keep my house clean with her dirty rags
3. using up all my start-up capital and not getting projects rolling

Current frustration:
1. you speak english they don't understand, you speak mandarin you and them don't understand
